How to join

The Green Check is available to all organizations and companies in Canada. There are three requirements for companies to become involved in the recognition program.

The company identifies what portion (or all) of its business or service it wants to be “Green Checked.” (What part of its operation(s)?)
The company or organization applies for evaluation, undertakes the “profiling” requirement and completes the Recognition Process Fee and pays the Recognition Fee.
The company or organization identifies and provides new updates/changes prior to the next year of renewal

To all Green Check Participants re: recognition

The Green Check program is not a certification process. The recognition may be based on criteria either existing standards or guidelines (referenced in the company/organization profile) or, alternatively, goals and objectives, to meet the changes, modifications and innovations identified by the company or organization. These guidelines or standards or identified objectives/goals will be reviewed annually as the company or organization Makes A Difference Environmentally. In particular, Green Check is interested in educational and awareness initiatives.
