How to Join

     
    The Green Check is available to all organizations and companies in Canada. There are three requirements for companies to become involved in the recognition program.
    • The company identifies what portion (or all) of its business or service it wants to be “Green Checked.”  (What part of its operation(s)?)
    • The company or organization applies for evaluation, undertakes the “profiling” requirement and completes the Recognition Process Fee and pays the Recognition Fee.
    • The company or organization identifies and provides new updates/changes prior to the next year of renewal

    IMPORTANT NOTICE

    To all Green Check Participants re: recognition

    The Green Check program is not a certification process.  The recognition may be based on criteria  either existing standards or guidelines (referenced in the company/organization profile) or, alternatively, goals and objectives, to meet the changes, modifications and innovations identified by the company or organization.  These guidelines or standards or identified objectives/goals will be reviewed annually as the company or organization Makes A Difference Environmentally.  In particular, Green Check is interested in educational and awareness initiatives.
